Taxi stand Amsterdam Central Station

Taxi stand Amsterdam Central Station

Here you can find a taxi. This taxi stand has always been known for its impolite taxi drivers, who refuse short rides and sometimes rip off tourists.
From June 1,2013, all taxi drivers in Amsterdam must have a special permit, which can be withdrawn after complaints by clients.
Also, all taxis must belong to a group, a 'permitted taxi organization'.

Complaints can be lodged (also in English) through taxiklacht.nl.

The taxi stand is open 24 hours a day.

On September 28, 2015, the stand moved to a location at the North side of the Central Station. To get there, you walk to the far North end of the station and turn left. At the end of the hall, as soon as you go outside, you'll find the taxi stand.
