A new website has been launched to provide information for disabled people about accessibility of buildings.
The website (http://www.toegankelijkamsterdam.nl) is also for the large part in English (the symbols are only explained in Dutch).
The list contains buildings (in Amsterdam) like attractions, museums, restaurants, cinemas, libraries, etcetera.
You can search on type or the name of the building, and the site also plots the search results on a map of Amsterdam.
The list is made by volunteers and students, and it is far from complete - at the moment about 20 different buildings are listed.
