Approximately hundred historic army vehicles will enter Amsterdam, in a parade that commemorates the liberation of Amsterdam on May 7 1945.
For some time the parade was uncertain, as the mayor indicated that was not enough police capacity to guide the parade. This has been solved now.
The parade starts at 10am in Diemen (south of Amsterdam), and just like 60 years ago it will cross the Berlagebrug (the bridge over the river Amstel, near the Amstel train station).
They will pass van Baerlestraat and arrive at Dam Square around noon.
On the army vehicles there will be some 350 Canadian war veterans.
