This stadium is the home of the famous Amsterdam soccer club Ajax. Being the biggest hall/field in Amsterdam, it is also used for concerts and parties.
On April 26 2017, it was decided that the stadium will be called after Johan Cruijff, the Johan Cruijff Arena. The new name is supposed to become effective in the course of 2017.
