Very busy (and warm) Queensday expected in Amsterdam

Queensday 2007 promises to become a very busy day in Amsterdam.

Normally, Queensday attracts about half a million visitors, but with nice weather the number of visitors increases. The weatherforecast promises nice, sunny and dry weather.
Because Queensday is on a Monday, for Dutch people (who are mostly free from work on this day) it is a long weekend, so Sunday evening will also become busy. And May 1 is an official holiday in most parts of the world (not in Holland though), so many foreign tourists are expected too.
The City of Amsterdam has called upon all visitors to make sure to bring enough water. The first-aid stations will also have more water in stock to help people who have become unwell.
