Special tram line 11 for IBC conference in Amsterdam

To deal with the large number of visitors for the IBC conference in Amsterdam, there will be an extra tram line (nr 11) between Central Station and the RAI congress centre.

The Amsterdam public transport company, GVB, will run the line from September 11 to September 15.

Tram 11 will run in the morning rush hour (from 8am) and evening (from about 16.30).

The tram works as any other form of public transport, and can be used by everyone.

In addition, tram line 4 (CS -> RAI) will run more often.

IBC is Amsterdam's largest yearly conference, held every year in the second week of September. The conference topic is the electronic media industry, attracting more than 1,000 exhibitors from more than 130 countries.
