Silent walk in Amsterdam for flight MH17 victims Wednesday evening

On Wednesday evening (July 23) there will be a silent walk in Amsterdam to commemorate the victims of flight MH17.

The City of Amsterdam has given permission to the organization of the event.

The walk will start at 8pm on Dam Square. The route will go via the streets Rokin, de Munt, Vijzelstraat, Vijzelgracht, Weteringschans, Leidseplein, Marnixstraat, Rozengracht and Raadhuisstraat, back to Dam Square.
Then white balloons will be released and there will be a minute of silence.
The organization calls upon participants to wear white clothes, if possible.
