Second 'bicycle flat' near Amsterdam Central Station

Alderman van der Horst has promised there will be a second bicycle flat near the Central Station.

The bicycle flat is a large float with several floors for parking bicycles. The structure has become a tourist attraction in itself because of the thousands of bicycles that can be seen from the outside.
Although 2,650 bicycles can be parked on the boat, this is not enough. There are also 2 paid bicycle parkings near the Central Station.
An estimated 10,000 parking places are needed, so an extra parking facility will be made.
