Rembrandt was born in the city of Leiden, and died in Amsterdam. His most productive period was when he lived in what is now called The Rembrandt House. Here you can find many of his etchings.
His works are all over the world, but many can be found in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
His most famous work is, no doubt, the 'Nightwatch' ('Nachtwacht' in Dutch), displayed in the main hall in the Rijksmuseum.
