The concert that will be given by the famous group U2 from Ireland in the Amsterdam Arena has led to outrageous prices on the black market.
Official questions have been asked in the Dutch Parliament about the phenomenon of black marketeering of tickets for big concerts. Apparently this does not only happen with the U2 concert in Amsterdam, but with other popular concerts as well.
Some members of parliament want to prohibit the black trade in concert tickets.
The U2 concert takes place on July 13 in the Amsterdam Arena Stadium, and tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.
Sales start on February 5, but are limited to 6 tickets per person.
