Parking garage on Oosterdokseiland.
Also known as Parking Oosterdok (and that is also how it is sign-posted). The garage is a bit hidden away behind the Public Library and the Conservatorium buildings. And as the garage has about 1,400 parking places, it appears to be struggling for clients.
The garage is really not so badly located. Walking to Dam Square would be about 15 minutes (1 mile, 1.5 km).
Currently (October 2015) it has cheap parking: E 12 for 24 hours. Below 5 hours of parking you pay E 1.50 per 20 minutes (E 4.50 per hour), but from 5 hours the meter jumps back to E 12,- (we checked this with the operators).
Another cheap deal at this garage: the special 'Night Time Tarief' is that if you
- enter after 6pm
- park at least 3 hours
- leave before 6am
you pay only E 5,-
