Open air concert Concertgebouworkest not in open air

The traditional open air concert that is normally given on the Museumplein square, is this year in the Concertgebouw.

The reason is that the building of a stage for the open air concert is too expensive.
The open air concert took place for the past 17 years.

The Concertgebouw is next to the Museumplein, near the Van Gogh Museum.

The concert is still for free. Works by Verdi, Mendelssohn, Paganini and Prokofjev will be performed.
It takes place on June 17, 9pm, so getting there early is essential.
