This morning the first 'Bollywood' stars arrived at the airport, and were greeted by enthusiastic fans.
Some 700 admirers had gone to the airport to cheer their idols, most of the girls and women from India.
The first star to arrive was IIFA Chairman Amitabh Bachchan. Also Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan arrived this morning.
In the next few days hundreds of movie stars from the Indian film industry will arrive for the IIFA ceremony (the 'Bollywood Oscars'), to be held this weekend in Amsterdam.
