Dutch prisoners will soon have to do without pornography on tv in their cells.
Minister of Justice Donner announced this in parliament yesterday.
The pornography is part of the subscription channels that the prisons use for their tv networks. The SGP (a small conservative religious party) had asked questions about it, and was particularly worried about the fact that also sex offenders could watch porn.
The Minister of Justice agreed, and decided to and decided to cancel the porn channels on prison tv, starting January 1.
