New public transport strike in Amsterdam, June 29

Unions have announced a new local public transport strike in the cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht, for Wednesday June 29.

The strike (which is not yet completely certain), is the result of failed negotations for a collective labour agreement for city civil servants in the Netherlands.

A decision about the strike will be taken tomorrow.

If the strike happens, it affects the Amsterdam public transport (buses, trams and metros).
Train traffic will not be affected (also not from and to the airport).

More news will be published on the Simply Amsterdam front page, and on this page.
