'Het Schip' (The Ship) is the name of a housing block in neighbourhood that is famous for the 'Amsterdamse School' architecture. It has an original post office interior and a permanent exhibition on the Amsterdamse School architectural movement.
The museum is going to be extended with a new building (the Catamaran), which will house a museum about Amsterdamse School architecture.
