Metro line near Amsterdam Central Station repaired

Since today the services of all metro lines starting at Amsterdam Central Station have been resumed.

On Monday the service was partially cancelled, due to a derailment near the Central Station. Starting noon today, all services are back to normal.

An investigation is underway about why metro mechanics staff took almost an hour to free the passengers from the derailed metro vehicle, instead of the prescribed 15 minutes.
