All buses, trams and metros in Amsterdam (and Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam) will stop for 5 minutes, from 11.55am to 12 o'clock.
The action is a protest against the planned privatization of public transport in the Netherlands.
Public transport staff is afraid they might lose their jobs, or will suffer salary cuts.
On November 15 there is a national protest day agains the privatization law. It is not yet clear whether this will affect public transportation service.
