The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam has received 820,000 visitors in 2006.
This is 6,000 more than in 2005. A spokesman said that this means that the Concertgebouw remains the best visited concert hall for classical music in the world.
The number of younger visitors (until 27 years) has grown with 40% to 68,000.
The number of concerts given in 2006 was 891.
