Amsterdam's zoo. Artis also houses the Geographical Museum of Amsterdam, a zoological museum, a butterfly house, and a planetarium.

There is also a museum about microbes, called Micropia (separate entrance fee).

Part of the zoo grounds is since 2015 the square called Artisplein. This square is accessible without buying a ticket. There is a restaurant where you can have something to drink and eat. Artisplein closes at night.
