The test period with outdoor cafes in the winter period will be extended this year in Amsterdam.
The first time this happened was last winter, and the results were satisfactory.
About 25 percent of the owners of a licence for an outdoor cafe made use of the possibility. The public in general also appreciated the possibility to sit outside and have a drink, even though the terraces can not be heated.
