Amsterdam Culinair is a new event, intended to be a yearly recurring event, on which Amsterdam presents its culinary qualities.
The event takes place on the Nieuwmarkt Square, where restaurants present their culinary art in about 22 tents.
The Nieuwmarkt square is in the heart of the old city, close to Central Station (a 10 minutes' walk through the Zeedijk). You can also take a (any) metro for 1 stop from Central Station.
The public can taste all kinds of foods, 'a unique opportunity the specialties of 22 Amsterdam kitchens'.
The entrance is E 7.50 and the tents are open on Thursday and Friday from 4 pm to 11 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 11 pm.
