2011 Countdown in Amsterdam on Museumplein with special New Year's Kiss

THE big outdoor party in Amsterdam on New Year's Eve is on Museumplein square.

The party will be free for all, and the square will be open from 9.30pm.

There will be music performances, and a big firework at midnight.

This year's special attraction will be the New Year's Kiss by two huge dolls in a typically Dutch outfit. The dolls are 12 meter tall. With the clock approaching midnight the dolls will slowly bend over to each other, and kiss each other at exactly 12 o'clock.
