Restaurant in an authentic, conserved villa dating from the early 20th century. The mansion served as the residence of the manager of the gas plant that once was on this location.
The building was planned to be torn down for a building project, but could be saved and is now integrated in the building project around it.
The new owners have managed to keep the homely atmosphere intact. On the ground floor is the cafe and restaurant, with outdoor seating. The terrace gets the late afternoon and evening sun, and offers a great view on the river Amstel. The location is quiet as the road that goes along it is a bicycle path.
On the upper floors are various rooms that can be rented for parties, meetings or other private gatherings.
