(NOTE: The tower is closed until March 2017, due to renovation work)
The Zuiderkerk church is one of the beautiful 17th century buildings in the centre of Amsterdam.
It was built in 1614, as the first Protestant church in Amsterdam.
The beautiful tower can be climbed in the summer months (the entrance of the tower is around the corner, Zandstraat 17). For details, see the website.
Currently, the interior of the church is not open to the public.
