Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam closed for renovation

From 29 September 2012 until 25 April 2013 the Van Gogh Museum will be closed for renovation.

During the renovation, the Van Gogh Museum will be temporarily hosted by the Hermitage Amsterdam with the presentation Vincent. The Van Gogh Museum in the Hermitage Amsterdam.

For now, this is the last of the major renovations of the main museums in Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum will be opened soon, the Stedelijk Museum has just been re-opened, and the Scheepvaartmuseum (Maritime Museum) reopened in 2011.
