The most important collection of Vincent van Gogh's paintings, but there are also other (19th century) paintings in the collection.
This museum is one of the must sees in Amsterdam, and it is always very busy.

Opening hours:
Daily from 9-5 pm, on Fridays until 10 pm.

Tip: visit the museum from 9 am to 11 am or after 3 pm. The busiest times are between 11 am and 3 pm.
Please note: last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

at the museum or online. If you buy online, you can skip the line.

If you have a Museumkaart, you can order a timeslot ticket online for free, and skip the line (you must show your Museumkaart at entry).
This is not possible with the I Amsterdamd Card, then you must stay in line.
Although the I Amsterdam Card is not listed in the price list on the museum website, the Card does give free entrance to the museum.

If you order online, you can disregard the donation request, it is voluntary.
