From Amsterdam Central Station, getting to Koog-Zaandijk is just about a quarter of an hour (direct connection). Trains go (roughly) from 6am till midnight, every day of the year, several times per hour.

From station Zaandijk Zaanse Schans to the entrance of the Zaanse Schans is about a 15 minutes walk.
