Tax refund minimum for non-EU visitors to EUR 50

From September 1 visitors to the Netherlands can ask for a tax refund if they shop for a minimum of E 50 on one day.

This makes tax-free shopping more attractive than in surrounding countries. The old minimum shopping was E 137.
A refund of up to 13.75 percent is possible.

A tax refund is only possible for visitors from outside the European Union.
