In case you were wondering what was going on: this is 'Dreamnight' in the Zoo in Amsterdam, Artis.
The evening is organized for handicapped and chronically ill children and their families. It is held every first Friday in June.
The children are transported by ambulances, fire trucks and police cars, with sirens and flashing lights.
Worlwide, about 170 zoos organize the same evening.
