The Simonehoeve used to be real farm, but has been transformed into a tourist attraction.
In the Simonehoeve you can get an explanation about how they make cheese and wooden shoes. The explanation/demonstration is free, the idea is that you are seduced to buy cheese, wooden shoes or other souvenirs in the huge souvenir shop in the building.
While the Simonehoeve normally caters for large groups (in buses), you can feel free to enter on your own.
