Sauna Nieuwezijds is a gay sauna, that opened December 2013 to become fresh competition for the (factual) monopoly of the Thermos Sauna.
This competition had its effect: in 2015 the Thermos sauna went bankrupt, leaving Sauna NZ behind as the next monopolist.

Sauna Nieuwezijds has 500m2 with the usual sauna facilities, plus various facilities for erotic fun.
