Rijenradar

Rijenradar

The 'Rijenradar' (Queue/Waiting line radar) was introduced in April 2017 to give an indication of how long you have to wait for a particular attraction or museum.

The page starts as a pilot, with 10 attractions participating, to start with. Amongst these are attractions with notoriously long waiting lines, such as the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Heineken Experience.
Most other attractions have no serious waiting lines to speak of.

Staff of the attraction make an estimate of the waiting time, at least every half hour, which is published immediately on the web page.

The pilot will last 3 months. The idea is that the radar could hopefully help tourists plan their attraction visits better.

The website is available in English and Dutch.
