Rembrandt 2006 Year more successful than expected

The Rembrand 2006 year, commemorating the 400th birthday of the painter, turns out to be more successful than expected.

For the special Rembrandt exhibitions 900,000 visitors were expected, buying 1.5 million tickets for exhibitions, during the entire year.
This number has been reached already. And the Rembrandt 400 organization expects 250,000 more tickets will be sold during the rest of the year.
