Queensday Amsterdam has attracted some 550,000 visitors, about 100,000 more than last year.
Although Queensday is celebrated in the whole country, Amsterdam always attracts the largest crowds (also because of its many foreign vistitors). The number of visitors was probably larger because of the exceptionally nice weather.
Police reported that Queensday itself, and also the evening before, were practically without problems. The Qday celebrations in other cities also passed without problems.
