Queens Day Amsterdam 2011: 800,000 visitors

The police report that Queens Day in Amsterdam has passed without any serious trouble.

The entire day, the atmosphere in the city was festive and pleasant.

Even so, the police report 198 arrests were made during the day, all because of relatively minor offenses.

There were also no serious problems with the trains. About 250,000 people came to Amsterdam by train.
