On Wednesday evening most pubic transport in the country came to a standstill because of the snowfall.
In Amsterdam buses and most trams stopped as the GVB judged it would be irresponsible to keep on driving. Also, the night buses will not ride.
Whether bus and tram services will be available on Thursday morning is not clear at this point.
Metros in Amsterdam are not affected.
Train services between Amsterdam Central Station and the airport may be affected.
