Open day new metro line Amsterdam on June 2

On Saturday June 2, everyone can have a look behind the scenes at all new metro stations that are being built for the Noord/Zuidlijn.

The Noord/Zuidlijn ('North-South Line') is the new metro line that is under construction at the moment. The line will connect Amsterdam North with Amsterdam South. In the centre there will be new stations at Central Station, Rokin, and Vijzelgracht.

The work has started in 2003 and is scheduled to finish in 2013.

From 10am-16pm on Saturday June 2 you have the possibility to walk around under the Central Station, in tunnels and on building sites. All building sites of the line will be open to the public.
Entrance is free.
