UPDATE March 23: Trains to Belgium have resumed. The Thalys (to Paris) and the intercity Amsterdam - Brussels are going again.
News of March 22:
All international trains from Amsterdam to Belgium have been cancelled, due to the terrorist attacks in Brussels. This also means the Thalys to Paris/France does not go. It is unknown until when this measure lasts.
There is apparently no immediate threat of attacks in the Netherlands.
Train platforms on Schiphol Airport were evacuated for a short time, because of a bomb threat - but this turned out to be false alarm.
Train travellers should look on the NS website (ns.nl) for possible delays.
