NRC Handelsblad is one of Holland's 'quality newspapers'. In 2013 it moved its main office from Rotterdam to a new building in the heart of Amsterdam.
On the ground floor you can find a café-restaurant, where the newspaper organizes debates, lectures and (sometimes free) music performances.
The music performances are every Sunday, and the performers are Amsterdam Conservatory students. Classical music and jazz are on the menu (see agenda on the website).
