Mövenpick Amsterdam hotel opened

This week the Mövenpick hotel Amsterdam will be opened.

The hotel will be one of the largest hotels in Amsterdam, with 408 rooms on 20 floors.

The hotel is located between the Passengers Terminal Amsterdam (where the cruise ships moor), and the new Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ (the new music theatre along the IJ).

All rooms will have a water view (if not blocked by a cruise ship).
The hotel's location is about a 10 minutes' walk from the Central Station, along the IJ water behind the station. This area is rapidly developing into one of the 'hip' areas in town.

The hotel will mainly target the business visitors. There are floors for conferences, which can be connected to the space in the Passenger Terminal (which can also be used for conferences) by simply opening a door. Also many guests are expected from the cruise ships that moor at the Passengers Terminal.
The hotel is completely non-smoking.
