Mayor of Amsterdam wins title

Mr Job Cohen, mayor of Amsterdam, has won the title 'Best Mayor in the Netherlands'.

The title could be won as part of a tv programme, in which viewers could also vote.
Although he got somewhat fewer votes from the viewers, the jury gave him so many points that he easily won from his contestant in the finals, Mr Gerd Leers, mayor of Maastricht.

The tv programme The Grandmasters is a series of programs in which for several professions the title will be awarded.
