In the 17th century, about a third of the Amsterdam population was of the Lutheran denomination.
The Lutheran art collection in Amsterdam, collected since about 400 years ago, will be on display in this museum.

The building used to be a Lutheran orphanage. Now it is a shortstay hotel plus museum.

The museum is scheduled to open in spring/summer of 2019, the exact date is not yet known.
