GVB (multiple) day ticket

GVB (multiple) day ticket

The GVB (Amsterdam's public transport company) sells convenient day cards for all public transport in Amsterdam.

You can choose 1 to 7 days.

Please note:
- the GVB cards are only valid on GVB buses/trams/metros in Amsterdam (not on regional bus companies that depart from Amsterdam, and also not on trains. So, the train between the airport and Amsterdam is not included. Trams and metros in Amsterdam are all run by GVB.).
See also note below about 'Amsterdam'.
- this card is an OV-chip card. This means you should always check in when you enter a vehicle, and check out when you leave. If you don't, this is not actively fined.

This type of card is now also for sale in the OV-service shop in Amsterdam Centraal Station.

The GVB (multiple) day ticket can combine very well with the Museumkaart, which gives free access to almost all museums in Amsterdam.

Note: where it is said that GVB buses/trams/metros only run in Amsterdam, this is not entirely true. Some lines that depart in Amsterdam go on to neighbouring places such as Diemen (tram 9), Duivendrecht and Amstelveen (tram 5). These destinations are covered by your GVB ticket.
