Free bicycles for students

Students can get a free new bicycle next year, with advertisements on them.

The company RedStarMedia has opened a website (in Dutch only) on which students can apply for the new bike.

The advertisements can be placed on the front, within the frame of the bicycle or on the side of the rear wheel.

Already 4,000 students applied for the bicycle, and 2 companies have said they will advertize.
The bike is intended for students from all 22 university cities in the Netherlands. RedStarMedia is talking with various bicycle repair companies about carrying out the maintenance of the bikes.

If the bike gets stolen, the student can get a new one if the theft is reported to the police.
