Flying the flag for the birthday of Princess Amalia has been made official by the Prime Minister.
Princess Catharina-Amalia is the daughter of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima, and therefore the most likely candidate to become the future Queen of the Netherlands, after her father has been King.
Princess Amalia's birthday is on December 7. The instructions for flying the flag apply to government buildings. The instructions also apply to local authorities. There are no such instructions for individuals, businesses and non-governmental organisations, but they are advised to follow these instructions.
On Amalia's birthday the flag is to be flown with the orange pennant.
