If you park your bike in the areas around the Central Station or around Leidesplein, and do that incorrectly, the city may cut your lock and remove the bike.
It that happens, your bike is taken to the 'Fietsdepot' (Bicycle Depository), a storage area far out in the Western harbour area.
You can collect your bike there (for a fee), or have it delivered to you (for a bigger fee).
