The Englishman who was thought to be in Amsterdam, with a broken neck, has been found.
The 29-year old Brit had been involved in a car accident in the UK and had been treated in a hospital. After his release, the hospital found out (on his X-rays) that he had broken his neck. However, in the meantime, he had left for Amsterdam, so it was thought he was in Amsterdam. The police in Amsterdam issued an official search message, urging that he be treated as soon as possible.
It now turns out that has visited several other European countries and has already returned to the UK. His relatives were waiting for him when he arrived by boat in Harwich, and he is already in a hospital.
