EnergeticA Museum perhaps closed down

The museum EnergeticA may close, due to lack of funding.

The museum has collected artefacts about energy technique and household appliances. Built up by volunteers, it now has lost virtually all funding by the former public utility works. These gas and electricity companies have been privatised, and cut on the funding of the museum.

In a press release of January 6, published on their website, the museum says it will close March 1, 2005, if no adequate funds have been found before that time. There is a budget deficit of EUR 120,000.
