The (about) 100 participating cars of the Amsterdam-Beijing Classic Car Endurance Rally will be parked on Dam Square from tomorrow afternoon.
The cars will park on Dam Square from 3.30pm tomorrow (Friday).
The real start of the race is on Saturday July 15, from 9am. The route will start in front of the Royal Palace on Dam Square. The rally ends in Beijing, on August 13 2006.
One hundred classic cars will take part, and the rally will lead through 14 countries on 2 continents. The distance between Amsterdam and Beijing is 17,500 kilometers (10,900 miles).
All cars have to be from before 1976.
